Information on Contract Work I generally works with both Marketing and Engineering to define and then create the artwork, templates, or interaction necessary for the software project. I work either on an hourly basis or flat fee bid for a project, whichever works best for the client. My bids are based on the scope of the project and include a reasonable amount of reviews and revisions. At the end of the project, the client owns all copyright to the work used in the software program. I am also happy to file for copyright with the US Copyright Office on any artwork created for a client to protect the rights to the artwork.
