If you're getting the "too many objects to export" error message, try the following: First off, there can't be any open paths in your artwork. Break apart (ctrl+k) your character, and tab through the pieces. Look at the command line as you tab through. It will tell you if you have a closed curve or an open path. If you come across an open path, delete it or close it. Often, you'll get a lot of little stray lines on your scan that will create open paths that are hard to see in the artwork. Once you've corrected or deleted any open paths, select all the parts to your artwork and combine it (ctrl+l). If your type is showing up either not at all or way off the baseline once you've exported it, try this: Check where the 0,0 point of your ruler is set. This is the only time that Corel cares where on the page you're exporting from. The 0,0 ruler point should be set to the lower left corner of your artwork. You can reset the 0,0 point by going up to where the rulers intersect and click-dragging down to where the 0,0 point should be: the lower left corner of your letter, at the baseline. Now try exporting your character again. These two problems cause most of the export problems from Corel to TrueType. Looking for more Corel Help? Try CorelNet.
