This is one of those Big Computer Books, useful not only for learning Photoshop but also as a small coffee table, ballast, or counterweight. McClelland has documented every single Photoshop tool and command in this 900 page hefty volume. This book is for advanced to intermediate users - beginners most likely will be overwhelmed by the sheer mass of information here. This book is truly a Bible for Photoshop, and McClelland has a nice, light, humorous writing style that makes it readable and interesting. This is a nice companion book to a step by step instruction book like the Adobe Classroom in a Book series. The book is in black and white with a color insert.
